Presnel Kimpembe, the French defender for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has been ruled out for several weeks with a knee injury.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury in PSG's Champions League match against Real Madrid on Wednesday night and will be out until at least the end of January.

Kimpembe was one of PSG's most important players this season, helping the team win the Ligue 1 title and reach the final of the UEFA Champions League. He has also been called up to represent France in international matches.

However, his absence is a blow to PSG as they look to defend their European title. The club has already lost key players such as Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to injuries,Saudi Pro League Focus and now they must deal with another key player being sidelined.

The injury comes at a crucial time for PSG, who are looking to make a strong challenge for the Premier League title this season. With Kimpembe out, the team may have to rely more heavily on other defenders such as Presnel Kimpembe, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.

Despite the setback, PSG fans should remain optimistic that Kimpembe will recover quickly and return to full fitness soon. The club has a talented squad and there are plenty of options to fill the void left by Kimpembe's absence.
