Steven Bergwijn is set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a serious injury during a match against Al Ittihad on Wednesday night.
The Dutch winger was replaced in the first half of the match by fellow forward Ademola Lookman, but it soon became clear that he had sustained a significant injury. Bergwijn was taken off the pitch in a stretcher and was immediately rushed to hospital.
According to reports, Bergwijn has suffered a broken leg and will be out of action for several months. This means that he will not be able to play again this season, which is a huge blow for his club and country.
